The VII regional competition "Abayev Readings - 2022" was held under the auspices of Amanzholov University, the press service of the Sarsen Amanzholov EKU reports.
There are a lot of people who want to take part this year. The coverage of students in grades 10-11 in all cities-districts of the region was 63 candidates. The online competition was held in three stages. This is an artistic recitation, tasks on the work of the great Kazakh poet and questions on the book "Abaydyn Kara the creator".
Rector of Amanzholov University Mukhtar Tolegen congratulated those present and wished them good luck.
– After Aristotle, Al-Farabi is considered the second teacher in the world, and the most famous poet of Kazakhstan is Abai Kunanbayev. Their works are still read all over the world. I wish you all good luck in this competition and we will be glad to see you as students of Amanzholov University. Our university will become a second home for you and an important step into the future–" the rector said.
Abai scholar Aizhan Kartayeva highly appreciated the views of those present. But a great responsibility is attention to the legacy of the great thinker and participation in Abayev readings.
- Children have great zeal. Everyone wanted to get an educational grant and become a student of our university. Therefore, the students were well prepared. We offer students to participate in the Abai readings every year: to try their hand, to demonstrate their knowledge–" said Aizhan Kartayeva, director of the Research Institute "Abaytanu" of the S.Amanzholov EKU.
The Grand Prix and educational grant of the university was won by a student of the 11th grade of the Shakarim secondary school of the village of Kengirbai bi of the Abai district Aruzhan Karipbai. The second place was taken by two schoolgirls - a student of the 10th grade of secondary school No. 14 from Ridder Altynai Bolatova and a tenth-grader of the specialized school-gymnasium named after Abai in the village of Karaul of the Abai district Aizere Manarbekova. The third place was awarded to 11th grade students - Riza Sabiolla of their regional specialized boarding school named after Zhambyl for gifted children of Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as students of Auezov secondary school of Kokpekty district Asylym Muratov and Sunkyl Amanbek.
