Teachers and doctoral students of the Department of Biology went on an expedition to the Katon-Karagaya State National Park together with the University of Freiburg (Germany).

The participants were Professors Dulam Suren Cheimaa, Markus Hauck, Heinz Koners from the Department of Plant Ecology of the University of Göttingen and doctoral students of the Mongolian State University.

This working trip allowed to exchange experience with foreign scientists. The doctoral students mastered drilling methods in botanical studies of woody plants and analyzed photosynthesis processes in plants using a portable system. Those present received answers on foreign scientific internship from foreign consultants. During the expedition, a large number of materials were collected and the stock of plants was replenished.
