The Teachers of the Department of Ecology and Geography within the framework of the Erasmus + project passed the first stage of the course "Distance Learning System" Moodle "in the educational process of the department" in TSU (RF).

The head of the department of ecology and geography Zh.K. Idrishev and the senior teacher of the department of ecology and geography T.N Samarkhanov held the first phase of the course "Distance Learning System" Moodle "in the educational process of the department from November 20 to 24 in the Tomsk State University within the framework of International project "Erasmus +" №561775-EPP-1-2015-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP "Institutional partnership for sustainable transboundary water use: Russia and Kazakhstan".

The program of advanced training offers ready methods of effective application of information and communication technologies in the educational process of the university, using both traditional distance educational technologies and methods, as well as modern ones. The content of the program takes into account the most relevant concepts, achievements and problems of modern e-learning, and also offers a comprehensive approach to their study and acquisition of practical skills.

The purpose of the advanced training program "Distance Learning System Moodle in the educational process of the department" is to study the basics of developing distance learning courses in the Moodle environment.

The attainment of this goal is possible with the help of solving the following theoretical and practical problems: to consider the possible application of the Moodle distance learning system in the teaching process; to familiarize with the interface and its features of the system - as a designer of distance courses and as an educational management system.

In addition, to teach the creation of a distance course and its modules; form the skills of applying it in the learning process.

Along with this, teach methods and techniques of distance learning communication in the environment of Moodle; to show the specifics of innovative pedagogical technologies and the possibilities of their application in the conditions of e-learning using the example of SDO Moodle; develop the skills of developing ESM in Moodle and their application in the educational process of the department.

From November 27 to December 8, the course continues in a distance form. During the remote stage of the course, students should compile the AUC for the chosen discipline. Upon completion of training, a certificate of professional development is issued.
