The annual award of Governor of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk within the competition «Alau-2022», the press service of Amanzholov University reported.

Students who have been active in community life, youth policy, education, science and sport received well-deserved nominations and letters of appreciation. According to the head of the city, about 100 applications were received for the competition. From them, the best candidates were selected and chosen.

- Not in vain we say: "Youth is the future of our country. The future of the state is in the hands of the young generation. The guys from Ust-Kamenogorsk show their activity and strength in various spheres. That is why they deserve so much credit. This year this competition was held for the fourth time. I congratulate all the winners," said Zhaksylyk Omar, Akim of the city.

The youth of S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University participated in this competition. Marlen Abubakir, Specialist in Educational Work and Social Issues of the University, and Didar Seitzhan, Lecturer of the Department of Ecology and Geography, received letters of appreciation and nominations from the city Akim "For Contribution to the State Youth Policy".

- The students of our educational institution and young teachers demonstrate their skills not only in education, but also in public events. Within the walls of the East Kazakhstan University numerous charitable events, volunteer activities are held. This demonstrates that residents of Amanzholov are active not only in education and science, but also in other activities," said Didar Seitzhan.

Also at the gala event, a nomination for Best Young Athlete went to Renata Zholdinova, a student of the institution and renowned gymnast.

- Such support, inspires me even more for my achievements. This means that my successes, earned through blood and sweat, are not in vain. I certainly hope that this award will be used for further achievements. I thank the university administration and everyone who supports me," Renata concluded.
