A presentation of 24 books by prominent Kazakh scholars about the poet, educator and thinker Abay Kunanbayuly was held in Astana as part of the work of the Abay Akademiyasy Research Institute, the press service of the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University reported.

According to Abayev scholars, the academy works to systematically study the poet's life and work in depth. Over the three years of its existence, the Abai Academy has published 72 books on various aspects of the poet's spiritual heritage and life.

- In 2022, 13 special series of works by renowned Abayev scholars and researchers of the country have been prepared and published in the framework of analytical and sociological research. Abay science is a complex branch of research on the spiritual culture of the Kazakh people", said Yerlan Sydykov, an academician and scientific supervisor of the Abay Akademiasy project.

Among the 24 books published was the work of Professor Aizhan Kartayeva, Doctor of Philological Sciences at S. Amanzholov University of East Kazakhstan. She devoted her research work in the first volume of the series "Abaydyң "tolyқ adam" іlimі zhane kogamdyk sanany zhangyrtu".

- The special attention is given to how correctly and systematically to tell to youth about creativity and life of Abay, to acquaint with works of great poet and thinker, to connect it with a modern context as Abay's heritage is our spiritual core even now - speaks Aizhan Kartayeva.

Renowned Abayev scholars, who have been involved in the project, took part in the book presentation. Their works focus on the work, phenomenology, legacy of the thinker, his socio-political views, world view, etc.
