*In 2017 S. Amanzholov EKSU is 65 years old.

* Exactly 10 years ago, on January 23, 2007, in the year of the 55th anniversary of EKSU, a solemn ceremony of opening the monument to Sarsen Amanzholov took place. The monument appeared before the educational building №1 of EKSU, located on the 30th GvardeiskoyDiviziist., 34.

* 20 years ago, in 1997, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev visited Ust-Kamenogorsk, where he took part in the opening ceremony of the humanitarian college of the East Kazakhstan State University.

* The library of EKSU is 65 years old. In 1952, the library's fund consisted of 10,000 textbooks and curricula. Today there are 1 million books in book collections.

Based on the assessment, S.AmanzholovEKSU took 11th position among 95 Kazakhstani universities and was awarded category "A" - High quality of teaching, scientific activity and demand for graduates by employers. Creative of the Year

«Психологический портрет преподавателя вуза» составили магистры ВКГУ. "Psychological portrait of the university teacher" did masters of EKSU.

The most creative for the assignment was the one-year master of the specialty "Chemistry" Tatyana Mitina who performed a portrait in the form of doll from colored balloons, on which she indicated the qualities necessary for the teacher.
