S. Amanzholov EKU introduced an elective discipline "Innovatics", an advanced training course "Management of innovation processes", as well as two educational programs "Innovation and Investment Management" and "Microqualifications". All innovations are developed taking into account the trends in the labor market and the peculiarities of industrial and innovative development of the region and the country.

- These are special specialties and discipline. We will not focus only on theory - we will make the second half of training practical. We will study international and national experience. Our main task is to teach students to generate ideas and create their own innovative projects," said Mainur Ordabayeva, head of the Department of Economics, Management and Finance.

The innovations of the university were presented to Sanat Akhanov, Chairman of the Board of the National Agency for Development of Innovations "Qazinnovations" JSC.

- I am very glad that today East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov leads the best university. Sarsen Amanzholov leads the best practice in innovative subjects. In this university we have seen a fundamental approach and understanding that innovation and technology is one of the most important tools of competitiveness," said Sanat Akhanov.

At the end of the presentation, the guest was shown the Center for Continuous and Inclusive Education "Dana Bala", Museum of History and Cultural Heritage, Research Institute "Abaitanu", Research Center "Altaytanu" and "Surface Engineering and Tribology", Scientific Library of EKU named after B. Mamraev, as well as the National Laboratory of Collective Use.
