Rector of Sarsen Amanzholov EKU Mukhtar Tolegen met with Professor of Vanderbilt University Stephen Heineman. During the business meeting, the parties discussed the development of a program for short-term internships at various universities in the United States.

- I believe that this initiative is a great global experience for rectors of regional universities. Special visits and exchange of experience will allow them to be as effective as possible in their managerial activities," said Rector Mukhtar Tolegen, Chairman of the Board.               

Prof. Steven Heineman, who for many years supervised education issues in 27 countries of Europe and Central Asia, is the author of the study of education quality and strategy to support the effectiveness of education. As a result of the meeting with the representative of the USA, the dates of the beginning and the end of the development of short-term internship in leading foreign universities became known. Next year there will be an opportunity to familiarize with new trends in higher education in the walls of American universities.

Recall, recently the rector of Amanzholov University took part in a training session for heads of universities in Kazakhstan of the new generation. The speech of foreign experts in the field of higher education was rich in progressive views and new information.
