23.05.2023 A FORUM FOR REGIONAL VOLUNTEERS WAS HELD A regional volunteer forum was held at the university. The event was attended by representatives of SAMK (Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan), volunteer youth of East Kazakhstan and Abay region. The purpose of the meeting with people who are evangelists of good is further development of volunteer movement, inculcation of qualities of kindness and desire to help young people. Organizers of the event say they plan to gather volunteers from East Kazakhstan and Abay region and hold discussions in a free format. A special guest from Astana - Maksatbek Kairgaliyev, director of the Mercy and Charity Fund, SAMK of Kazakhstan - said young people should always be ready to do good deeds. - Doing good deeds is not divided by nationality, religion or language. We all know the commandment of our ancestor Abay: "Love all mankind, call them brothers. Therefore, no one stops you from protecting the weak and supporting those in need. I invite those gathered to make a donation," said Maksatbek Kairgaliyev. The youth of EKU named after S. Amanzholov do not stay away from good deeds. Only one volunteer club "Meirim" at the university takes part in actions not only in Ust-Kamenogorsk, but also in regions and cities of the republic. For example, during the earthquake that struck Turkey in February, the young people of the institution took part in a big event and helped collect the essentials, such as food and clothes. - Today's meeting is very important. Volunteers from two regions came together in one place. We had a conversation with representatives of SAMK who are starting charitable activities. I believe that the volunteer movement will continue to develop," said Azizbek Nurpolat, EKU student and leader of the Meirim volunteer club. At the end of the event, Yermek Kazhi Mukatai, Chief Imam of EKR, thanked the staff and students of EKU named after S. Amanzholov, for always being pioneers of a good cause.
